Abstract

Indonesia's extraordinary potential as a superpower in terms of normal assets, human assets and social assets can be seen from the information that Indonesia has 714 tribes with certain characters and traditions. It has 86,398 social heritage sites and 19 UNESCO world heritage sites spread from Sabang to Merauke. Muna Regency itself is one of the districts in Southeast Sulawesi Province with a population of 228,639 people. The Muna people have a history of the past glory days of the Wuna kingdom, and have left behind many historical remnants in the form of language, performing arts, music and dance, various carvings and typical weaving motifs, traditional clothing, architectural styles, the history of the ancient times and customs that still exist. applied in everyday life. The lack of interest of the younger generation and modernization which shifts attention from tradition and lack of support from the government or society, could threaten the extinction of original culture in every region in Indonesia. Apart from that, one of the problems is the lack of infrastructure/cultural centers. The design of this Cultural Center uses a traditional architecture theme approach with a concept that carries local wisdom combined with technological advances and takes into account the natural and climatic conditions of tropical regions.
