Penerapan Arsitektur Kontemporer pada Wisata Kuliner dan Souvenir di Kota Kendari

Abstract

A culinary and souvenir tourism center is a recreational container visited by someone or several people for tour that provides food and drinks with distinctive cultural flavors and a variety of unique souvenir sfrom community handicrafts.
This study aims to sreate new contrainers to authorize and preserve the curture in Shouthest Sulawesi, especially typical foods and souvenirs.
This design applies the dynamic contemporary concept of not division and not bound by an era. Contemporary can attract the attention of the people of Kendari City because the shape of its unique and unusual building.
This research prodeces micro and macro designs which all cover important things in the design of a culinary and souvenir center by producing designs according to the approach and emphasis.
This culinary and souvenir center is expented to become a service cotrainer for provinding food and goods services that can not only be enjoyed by the surrounding community but also for local/foreign tourists by fulling all user needs as well as space for visiting tourists.
